Busted
Heh.
I have several weblogs out there. All personal and annonymous. Or so I thought. One I had inadvertantly put a link to some other sites, and when Blogger came out with the new upgrade they switched over and overrode my annonymizing precautions and placed my FULL NAME on every post. Which then got indexed by Google and Yahoo spiders. I was completely oblivious to this state of affairs until I checked my email one day and discovered a notice of a comment. I checked it, and it was from someone I knew who had Googled my name and found a post about my thoughts on adultry - which were contrary to sound Bible teaching (specifically interpreting adultry passages to allow for open marriage). He/she left a terse comment of rebuke and no name.
I expect at somepoint to recieve a call from one of my old missionary friends to have a talk wiht me about it.
I already know what my response will be:
Life is a journey. Exploring. Trying new things. At that point in my life I wrote those things in a private journal of my thoughts, which was accidentally released to the world. I really don't care what your questions are, but I can guess, and no I have not been unfaithful to my wife (anymore than you have), and while I wrote what I wrote at that point in my journey, I would not write the same thing today.
What I wouldn't say unless pressed is that I wouldn't write the same things because I wouldn't bother trying to use the Bible as justification, as it is no longer relevant as a source authority.
