I know you don't agree with my conclusion, but if god really did make people that he knew would never believe him, then he made them for the explicit purpose of bringing about the crucifixion and fueling the fires of hell. Therefore the nonbelievers are doing exactly what god wants them to and are much more important than the believers are. Plus this really shoots a hole in the ideas of free will and an omnibenevolent god who desires for no one to perish.
