Throw down
In the article Sodom 2: A Modest Proposal the writer suggests we "sacrifice" a city, possibly San Fran, by allowing it to do anything it wants. To be the non-Christian utopia. Since Christians believe God doesn't like this sort of thing and punishes locations for it, then in a period of time there should be judgement upon that place. If there is not then this would be an indicator that God is full of shit.
Since San Fran sits on a fault-line and is already in danger of a devastating or catastrophic earthquake, it would be a bit easy for Christians to point to any little natural disaster (as they already do) and call it judgement. So a standard for Judgement must be set. Utter devastation. No survivors (save a few "godly" how are prewarned and flee in the nick of time. This is how God does it in the Bible. The Flood. Sodom. Jerusalem. Corizan. If God curses a place he nukes it. There is none of this survivors nonsense. Nothing to rebuild. The place must be erased along with everyone there. Jesus even commented on this regarding the tower that fell. He was asked about what sin God had judged these people for. He replied that it was just dumb luck. They where at the wrong place at the wrong time and were victims to faulty engineering. Yet in another place he declares that Jerusalem will not have one stone left standing on another. Now THAT is Judgement.
So the next time some preacher says God judged a city for wickedness because of some hurricane blowing through, and you see survivors and reporters on on-scene, alive. Tell them to Shut The Fuck Up.
